We have found that by following these simple steps you can be assured the quickest turnaround time for your tools. Also, by following these tips you help to keep your costs at minimum.
When shipping your tools it is important to properly pack your tools to insure there will be no further damage caused during transit. Newspaper, bubble wrap, packaging peanuts, kraft paper or other packaging materials can prevent extensive damage caused by insufficient packaging. Proper packaging insures not incurring additional repair costs due to damage. A good rule of thumb is to insure at least 2” of clearance between your tool and any wall of the box.
Please include a packing slip or purchase order that identifies all the items in your shipment. Include quantities, full descriptions, model numbers, and traceable serial numbers.
Please include a contact name and preferred method of contact for use with any questions we may have or to insure a quotation (if needed) is forwarded to the correct person.
Be sure to include any specific problems which may not be obvious to our technicians. This includes sticking in specific spots, out of calibration at specific points, or not repeating. Being specific as possible regarding the reason for service will ensure the quickest lead time and most economical repair service.
